Yay I have cleared out my stuffed inbox

I finally organized my gallery, too. I was amazed at how easy it was now 8DDDD last year it was really awkward trying to organize my stuff...Now if they would only provide an easy scraps button, I will be happy.

On a more serious note, I attended a rally the other day on Invisible Children. It's a non-profit organization that works to keep Ugandan children out of fear of being abducted by the rebel army, LRA, and end the genocide committed by Joseph Kony, who has refused peace for many years and continues to abduct children and massacre innocent people.

You should really check this issue out if you already haven't. There are lots of things we can do even without actually being on the scene in Uganda, especially the petition for the citizens arrest warrant for Joseph Kony. It's better than doing nothing!

The stupid all-in-one printer won't let me scan. My printer's been pretty dumb these days.

Anyways, the whole point is I've been drawing heck of a lot and my scanner won't work. Yeah, those two don't go together well.

As a sidenote, I've been obsessing over Yoko Kanno these days. She is awesome.

STARTS IN A WEEK.

I shall be very frank and say that I've lost some love from deviantART. Or Internet in general. (the shock) The thing is my priorities have become:
1. art
2. writing
No, not fanfictions. I can't bring myself to totally mutilate other people's characters and stories like tons of fanfics do. Of course, when school starts, you'll see that school will take the number 1 spot. *sigh*

I'm feeling kinda cranky, kinda not. Reason 1: the schedules that have been mailed have no teacher names on them in the fear that students might switch out of the classes if the teachers suck. Reason 2: Violin has crapped up my life (I still love it very much, but the lessons with the new teacher are TOUGH.). Reason 3: I have tons of messages in my inbox. Reason 4: I don't really feel like opening them. =3= Which makes me feel guilty.

But anyways, with that said, see ya possibly next year....I'll post some stuff sometimes, but don't expect any replies or like....a word. Except on the artist's comment section thingi that no one probably looks at.

On a more personal note, I missed you, joe. :/

So. Since school is over, I decided to stop being lazy and finally visit deviantART again.

...After spending a good hour or two cleaning out my inbox of...UGH...messages....hordes...of...messages.... ahem. I came to realize this fact: I am no good at updating sites and stuff. One of the reasons I don't have myspace or facebook. I'm just not that motivated to regularly check on my page and stuff. Doesn't mean I'll never update, but it just means after summer break's over, I will probably update next year. Which is pretty sad, considering I will have another bunch of messages to confront. XD

On another note, I'm actually quite happy to be back. ^^ I've been drawing a lot, and I decided that I should only put my digital and anime/manga work up here. The rest will go into my portfolio...maybe with some digital work from here. I've been experimenting most of the time with different methods of coloring, and I'm still trying to search for my style of digital painting. Dunno what to stick with, yet. XP

Aaaanyways.....how are people doing?

I am currently not very happy. DeviantART has once again deleted one of my "wallpapers," FFversusXIII. All I ask is...does anyone have this saved on their computer? That would be VERY nice, considering that I had already deleted a copy of this long time ago. I just want to keep it for memory's sake. TT^TT
